I’d rather be lunching with you my love
than being stuck at my desk today.
Let’s go down to the river and lay on the grass
do you think you could get away?
Or how ’bout a quiet seat in the shade
with some cake on a little tea tray?
With fine china cups and flowery plates
we’d be like the Queen for a day.
Remember the time we hired a boat
and headed out over the bay?
Maybe we’ll go again one day my love,
if only I could get away.
Instead I’m sat here in my cubicle world
I won’t see you ’til later today
Maybe we’ll plot our escape from this trap
I don’t like to live life this way.

Iām finally catching up but will come back to comment on other/future posts. Thanks for your patience!
Yes my love, lets get away!
What a beautiful place.
Oh I know just how you feel!
I do too
I love this! It is so typical of anyone who loves another so deeply. Nothing can replace the contentment of being together as one.
Excellent.

This is so beautiful, such a sweet declaration of love! Isn’t it wonderful to have someone that you long to be with when you’re not?
I’m fine, I went on a fabulous Arts & Crafts tour of Morocco, and now I have some 3000 photos to sort through
)
Thanks for welcoming me back
Ooh, I’m imagining lovely shots, earthy tones and blues. Mosaics? Markets? Spices? Laneways? I’ll keep my eye out for them.
Don’t know when I’ll get around to blogging about the tour, but I have started an album on Facebook; if you’re there, send me a friends request!
Excellent, I’ll look you up!
